
Procedia CIRP
All accepted papers will be published in the open access publication Procedia CIRP.
Procedia CIRP is an open access product focusing entirely on publishing high quality proceedings from CIRP conferences, enabling fast dissemination so that conference delegates can publish their papers in a dedicated online issue on ScienceDirect. Procedia CIRP is indexed in the EI Compendex and Scopus databases.
Acceptance of papers is based on review of the full manuscript. However, prospective authors should submit a short abstract in advance in order to evaluate the fit within the scope of the conference and potential merit of the proposed paper.
The CIRP CAT 2018 conference uses the Elsevier Editorial System (EES) which provides an online submission and editorial system for Procedia CIRP. Authors must sign in and create an account thorough the link: here

Abstracts and papers must be written in English.
The format of the abstract can be downloaded here: Microsoft Word.
Abstracts are limited to 100 words and should include title of the paper, authors and author affiliation. It should highlight the nature and novel aspects of the work and list three key words, coherent with the Scientific Themes of the conference.
Papers must not exceed a maximum of 6 pages and should be prepared using the paper template provided (see below). Please do not alter the formatting and style layouts which have been set up in the template document.
Doc/docx/latex are acceptable formats of source files. As an author, you are required to submit a PDF as well a source file copy of your paper. Manuscript template can be downloaded here: Microsoft Word, LaTeX.
